To meet the demands of an increasingly demanding market , especially in terms of quality, MEVA equipped itself with a new rolling machine specializing in the finishing detail of the surfaces of cylindrical metal parts, smooth or pronged threads and gear wheels, and particularly useful in the making of endless screws and motor shafts.
This here is the rolling machine MS3 produced by ORT Italia, a 100% Italian company and ISO 9001 certified, specialized in the design and construction of rolling machines. The model purchased by MEVA is capable of processing pieces with a diameter between 8 and 45 mm; it has a tailstock with L=700 mm and works in CN to allow a continuous and accurate control of the machining process, in order to ensure the highest quality and yield such a final product after processing.
The process of cold rolling requires a very rigid and powerful machine, and this model is structured to meet the requirements of robustness required to achieve very high quality results. At the same time it is able to carry out the most delicate and demanding jobs. Being versatile and flexible it can study special cycles of work to satisfy the most particular requests of our customers.
The pieces produced, especially the endless screws and drive shafts equipped with different types of notches, are essential components for the machinery and equipment employed in various sectors: from that of aerospace to aeronautical to that of domestic appliances, from hydraulic tools to agricultural machinery to the construction industry, from automotive and nautical production machinery to food production machinery.
